Pilkington Pyroclear® is a clear, high-performance monolithic fire-resistant and safety glass designed to provide basic integrity performance. Suitable for internal and external applications, it offers up to 60 minutes of fire resistance and is compatible with steel and aluminium systems.

We offer a wide range of fire-resistant glass options with varying levels of protection to suit your needs. Protection levels are measured in defined time periods (30, 60, 90, 120 and 180 minutes) and in terms of either integrity and insulation or integrity only, as designated by the European Standards.

Pilkington Pyroshield™ (see Product Data Sheet) is the brand name for a range of fire resistant glass with a welded steel mesh incorporated within the body of the semi-molten glass and formed by passing between two rollers, one of which forms an impression or pattern into the glass.
